A resource designed to help students identify the language and structural features of different texts and begin writing their own. Students are given a number of example text types to analyse on the theme of saving some battery hens. They are then given prompts to write the beginning of a newspaper report, a speech and a magazine advertisement. This could also be a refresher for KS4 writing.
