Twelve top tips

A detailed framework for students to use when first reading a media text. There are 12 questions for students to explore, which will encourage key analytical skills including inferring bias, understanding purpose and audience and summarising. 

Questions and prompts include finding out where the text was published, what the article is about and identifying the differences between fact and opinion.
