Slim and masculinity

This resource contains teaching ideas focusing on Slim and the presentation of masculinity in Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. 

Students are given a statement about Slim and their task is to find quotes and points from the text to support this viewpoint. They are then given a number of quotations from the text and they have to decide which of the earlier statements about Slim support or challenge these quotations. Teaching notes and prompts are included.
