Based on 'The Daughter' by Jacqueline Wilson. A lovely diary writing task.

Have you used this resource?

I use this with my top set in a vertically grouped year 5 and 6. Also for support in Year 7 and 8. All of the children love it, alongside my own resources on Samuel Pepys and Anne Frank, it provides a lovely introduction to diary writing. I have recently added "Amelia Earhart's Lost Diary" to this group as a creative stimulus.
I have not been able to find the text, which all of the children have requested, as they are keen to read the rest of the book.
