A1 language basics

A collection of resources for beginners or false beginners with a focus on simple everyday vocabulary: numbers, letters of the alphabet, colours, days of the week, months of the year, family members, and countries and nationalities.

It also includes work on the present simple tense and basic, everyday functional language – such as telling the time, saying the date, filling in forms and providing personal information – and essential study skills, such as how to use a dictionary.

Some of the resources are suitable for young learners, while others are suitable for adult ESOL learners or beginner EFL students.
