After KS3 students have learned about the eye they can be given this 'survival' activity. This resource is made up of 24 questions and short tasks which are suitable for revision of the structure and function of the eye.
Each task has a corresponding point value and they need to gain at least 20 points to survive. An answer guide is provided. Students can become very competitive and so the quality of the answers may need to be checked. This can be done by walking around the class checking responses and prompting students for more information.
It would also be suitable to use as a revision activity with KS4 Biology students before they move on to learn about accommodation and eye defects.
