The structure of the rainforest

This resource looks at the structure and layers of the tropical rainforest and the characteristics of the soils found in this ecosystem. Students complete a number of structured activities to help them develop their knowledge of the tropical rainforest ecosystem.

This resource would be particularly useful for lower ability students as it includes fill in the gaps activities and simple structured questions. Answers are included for all activities.
