River long and cross profiles

A resource identifying downstream changes in the long and cross profiles of a river. Students watch a short video clip of how a rivers characteristics change downstream. They must then complete a range of activities to show their knowlege and understanding of these changes. Students sketch the changing shape of the rivers long profile and cross sections and annotate these changes onto photographs. They should then complete a summary table to evaluate their understanding.
