A map skills resource looking at the global distribution of earthquakes and volcanoes. Students use latitude and longitude figures to plot different tectonic events – 15 volcanic eruptions and 15 earthquakes – on a map. They must then make comparisons between the map they have created and one showing the distribution of plate boundaries.
